Hello, world.
Night Wave started because I wanted a place for useful things that would otherwise disappear into notes, bookmarks, and a ridiculous number of open tabs. If I learn something, build something, or finally solve an annoying problem, this is where I can put it somewhere I will actually find again.
Making it public keeps the door open for someone else to get something out of it too. Maybe it answers a question, saves a little time, or gives someone a better starting point than I had.
Why “Signals”?
There is no shortage of noise online. A signal is the part worth tuning in for.
Around here, that could be a walkthrough, a quick explanation, a project update, an opinion, or just a note I know I will need later. Some entries are short and focused. Others go all the way down the rabbit hole.
I do not have a strict lane. Software development, local AI, Linux, networking, self-hosting, gaming, hardware, privacy, data, and automation are all fair game. If something is fun to build, useful to know, or satisfying to figure out, it probably belongs here.
The goal is not to post on a schedule or pretend I have the final word. I just want each signal to be clear, honest, and useful. If an older one stops being accurate, I will try to update it.
